We will miss our Darjeeling

Students are back from their home stays and mostly all healthy and thriving except for a little stomach stuff. They went out in small groups of three and did “wandering cow day” in lower Darjeeling

Special chat at Beni’s followed as did haircuts, shaves, and massages, and some gifts. They are taking care of each other and exploring this wonderful town.

Monkeys found us after morning chai coffee at a Buddhist temple above Chowrasta

Arrived safely to our last tea house…

…in Kalimati 1950 meters after coming down from Badal Danda at 3200 meters. Navigated lots of steps and many voracious leaches (Junga). Everyone healthy and thriving with some sporting impressive junga battle scars. Tomorrow, Pokhara and a visit to a Tibetan Village in the afternoon followed by a visit to Kaji’s village to bring soccer balls the following day and then we are going to Kathmandu!

Namaste

Thanks – Louis
